Privacy Policy

Qarar (“Qarar”, “we”, “us”) is a hiring and applicant-tracking platform operated by Farapi. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Qarar web application at qarar.cloud and the related API at api.qarar.cloud.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and organization membership, used to authenticate you and grant access to your workspace.
  • Recruitment data — job postings, candidate and applicant records, applications, interview schedules, offers, and onboarding documents that you or your organization enter into the platform.
  • Data from connected Google accounts — if you choose to connect Google Calendar, we access calendar event data to synchronize interview times. See “Google user data” below.
  • Technical data — log and request metadata (such as timestamps and error information) needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional and is initiated only when you explicitly click “Connect” for an integration. With your consent, Qarar requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

  • openid, email, and profile — to identify the Google account you are connecting.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to read your free/busy times and create, update, or remove interview events on your primary calendar.

We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the calendar-sync feature you requested. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Qarar’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect a Google integration at any time from your account settings, which revokes Qarar’s access and deletes the stored tokens. You may also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the Qarar service;
  • authenticate users and enforce organization-level access controls;
  • operate hiring workflows — applications, interviews, offers, and onboarding;
  • synchronize interview events with your connected calendar, when enabled;
  • send transactional emails such as invitations, notifications, and reminders;
  • diagnose problems and comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Qarar (such as cloud hosting and email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. Recruitment data is visible to the members of your organization in accordance with their assigned roles and permissions.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as your account or your organization’s account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below. Disconnecting a Google integration immediately deletes the associated OAuth tokens.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent for optional integrations. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
